How to Request an Appointment

You can request an appointment in the following ways:

Treatment Room Nurse

The treatment room service has an appointment system. To make an appointment, you can either phone the main reception on 0141 201 5000 and choose option 9 or go the main reception desk. The reception desk is open 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.

When you are attending the treatment room, please remember to report to the main reception when you arrive.

Practice Nurse

The practice nurse is usually able to assess the situation and in some cases will organise initial blood tests and other investigations prior to arranging a follow up appointment with your doctor.

The practice nurse complements the service that we offer to you, our patients. Please be assured that a doctor’s appointment will always be available should you prefer, but you may get an earlier appointment if you opt to see the practice nurse.  The practice works closely as a team to ensure that you have a high quality of care.

Telephone Consultations

We offer telephone consultations in the morning and in the afternoon with either the doctor or the practice nurse. These are primarily for patients who do not need to see a doctor but need some medical advice. Most patient problems can be safely managed by telephones. If a face to face contact is needed, the doctor or nurse will arrange this when they speak to you. Telephone consultations are now a fact of life as a result of Covid, and they help us to protect you and to protect the most vulnerable patients with low immunity.

Phlebotomy Appointment

To make an appointment telephone 0141 355 1525. You can only make an appointment if you have been advised to by the Practice. When you are attending the Phlebotomy Service, please remember to report to the main reception when you arrive.
